A tiny kitten, once small enough to fit in the palm of a hand, has now grown into the most adorable shoulder companion.
A small grey kitten and her sibling found their way to Sara Tiedeman’s care when they were just a few weeks old. Sara, who works as a veterinary technician, immediately volunteered to help when the kittens were brought to the rescue organization she partners with.
The grey kitten was extremely malnourished and frail, looking like she was all skin and bones. Despite her tiny size, she displayed a remarkable determination to survive right from the beginning.
“I had to use a tube to feed her for a couple of days until she could learn how to latch onto a bottle,” Sara shared with Love Meow.
When she first came, she was as tiny as a palm. Sara Tiedeman chose to give the kittens, a grey one named Wild and a tabby named Brave, strong names to reflect their resilience. She made sure to feed them regularly and offer care all day long, ensuring they had the best possible chance to grow strong. The two kittens found comfort in each other’s presence, snuggling together and giving each other the motivation to keep going. Once Wild started to recover and gain strength, she wasted no time in showing off her feisty personality by exploring and sharing her many opinions.
The courageous and adventurous kitten siblings

The silver kitten grew rapidly thanks to the nourishing meals. She displayed the confidence of a robust kitten, eagerly standing tall and venturing out to explore. Every time Sara entered the room with a bottle, she was the first to leap up, meowing in anticipation of her meal. “She’s just so joyful, and I couldn’t be prouder of her.”
Within a mere week, the kittens underwent a remarkable transformation as their unique personalities began to shine through. Wild, in particular, would cuddle up to her foster mom, melting into her embrace every time.
Sara Tiedeman noticed that the little grey kitten seemed a bit delayed in her growth compared to other kittens. Despite being three weeks old, she looked more like a two-week-old kitten. However, her small size was overshadowed by her endearing peculiarities.
Wild displayed great enthusiasm during meal times, eagerly watching her foster mom as she prepared her food. After enjoying a satisfying meal, she would then shower her human with affectionate cuddles, creating heartwarming bonding moments.

The lively little kitten couldn’t contain her excitement when they upgraded to a roomier kitten suite, giving them more space to play and have fun. Wild has transformed into a bold and curious kitten full of spunk. She seizes every chance to curl up in Sara’s arms and has mastered the art of climbing up her shoulders.
